You can come and visit us with using either public transport or by renting a car.

Public transport

You can either catch a train or a bus to Mikkeli and continue from there with a bus to Puumala. Alternatively, we can arrange a taxi for you to pick you up.

From Puumala, you can either take a taxi or reserve a shuttle service from us for Puumala center – Niinisaari. The drive is about 15-20 minutes (10 kilometers) from the center to Niinisaari. Shuttle service takes you to the reception, waits for you to check-in and drives you to the cottage. The cost is 20 € one-way including max. 4 passengers and their luggage.

Renting a car

You can rent a car from any of the nearby cities with railway stations: Mikkeli, Lappeenranta or Savonlinna. The drive time from these cities is from 1h 15 minutes to 1h 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can also rent a car from Helsinki-Vantaa airport if you are arriving here straight after your flight. The drive time from the airport to here is from 3h 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on the traffic.
